Omg, could I know your ships in that case? <3 I just… well. I watched the film two times only, and the only ship I liked was Clint/Natasha. I also saw Tony/Steve like a possible ship, but I wasn’t able to love it, to feel the feeling of ¨I SHIP THIS¨ in my chest. But after watching that video— Oh god. Such a cuties ;v; So I think I will stalk your tag and, if I see I keep having these feels… well… the world can run away from me CAUSE I WILL HAVE OTHER NEW SHIP (?)

Alright…

So first of all, here’s the thing, I am a big shipper. In the sense that I ship a lot - although more or less (and some more crackishly than others) - lot lot of ships. I consider every alternative in and out of the universe and wonder how characters would and could fit together, and many of them I wouldn’t care if it was entirely platonic otp or more so long they keep working this way together.

That being said, I’m not that knowledgable about Marvel, I’ve seen the Iron Man movies, Thor and Avengers twice each, and most of the X-Men movies as well… The rest of my knowledge comes from various things, articles I’ve read on wikis, mosty essays on tumblr and livejournal, as well as the cartoon The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and a couple of comic pannels here and there. The only comics I have read for now is a little part of the Young Avengers, I have never been into a comics shop, here in France we have our own comics, a lot of them, and the American ones aren’t as popular although you can find them. Anyway before last year I didn’t care much about them because we had plenty of our own.

I should stop babbling about that and get to the main subjects. So. You’re asking for my ships. In The Avengers. Most of them are half brotp half otp, meaning I ship them as both, and it is very confusing for me.

Let’s start with Clint Hawkeye Barton because this guy is absolutely amazing and is the one I am the less sure about for my ships because I have too many ships for him. There is Tasha of course, it has been canon in the comics I think, and is heavily hinted in the movie. There is also Bobbi alias Mockingbird because they’ve been married canonly and are really pretty badass together. I’d say the Scarlet Witch as well since it’s canon except I know very little about Wanda. There is also Bruce (not Hulk, Bruce, 100% brotp with Hulk though, but once again they’re not the same person), mainly because of TAEMH, it is a bit of a guilty pleasure ship, they just fall very well with each other and although there is not many works for this ship it is high quality enough to keep me going. And then there is Coulson. I liked the idea of it when I first saw it on tumblr, I considered it, started digging into the fandom a bit, and soon it became one of my favourite ship. Scifigrl47’s fics are not helping at all.

I could spend some time explaining why I ship all of those in details but I think this post is already going to be long enough.

So then, let’s get to Tony, because Tony is just as amazing as Clint and the others. Shipping him with Steve has become more or less of a reflex, I think you’ve seen on my tag a few reasons why, it’s one of those ship that seem natural and you don’t wonder too much about it because it just is. There is Pepper of course, althoug I liked them better before the second Iron Man movie because it kinda seemed a bit forced? I don’t know, I like their interactions but I’m not fond how it is forced on the couple side of them, I like badass Pepper just like she is and wouldn’t change her for anyhing even if it meant her in a relationship with Tony. And guilty pleasure ship is with Loki. Brains, snark, magic and science, this ship is way too attractive and pulled me in and won’t let me go, ever. Not that I’m trying very hard to.

For the rest of them, it is mostly cracky ships or ships I see everywhere and don’t mind, I’m not fond of them but I don’t dislike the idea either, have a little list : Thor/Loki, Thor/Jane, Loki/Jane, Loki/Darcy, Loki/Sif, Thor/Sif, Darcy/Fandral, Darcy/Sif, Natasha/Pepper, aaand many others but I’m hungry and brain is running slowly so I can’t think of many more for now.

Also, I don’t really have any notp, I just can’t really see Bruce and Tony as more than brothers (and what great brothers they are) and feel a bit unconfortable about the idea of Darcy/Clint for some reason.
